APR is pleased to introduce the 2.0 TSI Stage III+ Turbocharger System producing 451 horsepower on standard 93 octane pump fuel and 501 horsepower on 100 octane race fuel! Thanks to APR's advanced real time engine management calibration capabilities, the Stage III+ turbocharger spool is lightning fast with a nearly flat torque curve from 3500 RPM all the way to redline. In all driving conditions, Stage III+ has power instantly on tap to pull you back in your seat and put a huge grin on your face. Power levels beyond that of the APR Stage III Turbocharger system were made possible with the addition of three main components: Garrett/Honeywell GT3071R Turbocharger capable of airflow levels approximately 25% higher than the Stage III GT2860RS unit. APR High Pressure Direct Injection Injectors approximately 30% larger than standard OEM TSI injectors. In 2008 APR began turbocharger system development for the 2.0 TSI when first commissioned by VWGoA for their SEMA Show concept cars. Both Vehicles performed flawlessly and the ECO CC won the Gran Tourismo's Best of SEMA Show European Car Award. In 2009 after months of brutal street and track testing, the APR 2.0 TSI Stage III Turbocharger System was released to the public as the worlds first turnkey turbocharger system completely engineered under one roof. In nearly three years, this has yet to be duplicated anywhere in the world. In 2010 Volkswagen Coaching Gmbh marked the 35th birthday of the VW GTI and the 30th GTI Treffen at Wörthersee by unveiling a specially prepared GTI MK6 at the Treffen show in Wörthersee, Austria, featuring the APR Stage III Turbocharger System.
In early 2011, APR pushed the TSI development envelope further and showcased the first APR Prototype 2.0 TSI Stage IV Turbocharger System and engine build, commissioned by VWoA for their 2012 Concept MK6 Jetta GLI. Power levels were increased significantly over Stage III and marked the world's first 500+ horsepower 2.0 TSI engine. The Stage III Turbocharger System was met with great success around the world, operating on hundreds of cars worldwide on all four reiterations of the 2.0 TSI engine found in eighteen vehicles in the VAG lineup.
